She's a good-looking youngster, Steve! Am I seeing things, or do some of her dorsal spots bleed over to merge with her side crescents?

I think you are right, they do seem to merge on 2-3 areas. Is that not normal?

No, it's actually pretty rare. My Spessartine, she of the electric orange color, has the same abberation in one area. Purists will term it a flaw, but I feel it adds interesting character. That said, you'll have to keep it carefully in mind if you ever breed her for pattern.
