Looks very pretty.
I notice you have stacked it on top of another glass viv. In the question thread you asked about stacking them and a few people said it wasn't a good idea. |

Hiya louise
Yep read the advise and checked up on what was mentioned
Only reasons given for not stacking these vivs were for safety reasons, first thing I noticed when I did offer the viv on top of the other was that they can`t fall off each other as there is locking tabs protruding from the top so to get the top one off the bottom one it would have to be lifted up first on my particular set ups so all safe their and as for the base glass cracking I will keep an eye out for that problem.
My main concern was how it would affect earls temps and humidity but it hasn't as there is room for ventilation still between the vivs

what are the dimensions of the mesh holes of the bulb guard? because you will need to be careful the little baby doesn't stick his head through. |

Nice looking setup just be carfull of the bulb guard as your brb may be small enough for it to squeeze in the 10mm holes and get burnt. |

Your setup looks good, but be aware that using a bulb to provide heat will complicate the humidity, as bulbs tend to dry out the air. Just something to keep any eye on.
The planting looks great, but remember when cleaning to include them as well -- otherwise they could become germ havens over time.
As others have noted, a small baby can easily fit his head through that mesh. A bigger baby should be fine.
Best of luck, |

LOL on the weather. I was originally from the US Midwest region, so know how you feel! Manufacturers produce undercage heating in various strengths, so there should be an option somewhere that works. If not, a good alternative to the bulb is a "radiant heat panel." I know people who use these with great success to heat their entire enclosures. Hope these help! |
